At JAC Press, we publish books that connect, resonate, and leave a lasting impact. We work with both emerging and established authors to develop, produce, and scale stories that matter.

We are highly selective and only take on projects we believe we can fully support, grow, and build into long-term success.

What We’re Looking For

We are open to submissions across a range of genres, including:

• Fiction (Commercial, Literary, Genre)
• Fantasy & Sci-Fi
• Horror
• Thriller & Mystery
• Young Adult & New Adult
• Select Nonfiction (story-driven, narrative-focused)

We are especially interested in:

• Strong, distinctive voices
• High-concept or marketable ideas
• Clear audience and positioning
• Series potential or multi-book opportunities
• Projects with long-term IP potential (adaptation, expansion, or universe-building)

While we do accept standalone titles, we prioritize authors and stories that can grow beyond a single release.

What We’re Not Looking For

To help streamline the process, we are currently not accepting:

• Previously published works (unless rights are fully available)
• Incomplete manuscripts
• Early drafts or unedited work
• Projects without a clear audience or positioning

What to Include

Please submit the following:

• Query letter (brief introduction + pitch)
• Synopsis (1–2 pages)
• First 3 chapters or up to 50 pages
• Total word count
• Target genre and audience

Optional (but encouraged):

• Series outline or future book ideas
• Long-term vision for the project

We believe stories should create impact beyond the page.

That’s why 10% of profits from every title we publish are donated to charitable causes.
